Healing Touch Worldwide Foundation

The Janet Mentgen Vision Fund was set up in Janet’s memory to support the training of residents of foreign countries as Healing Touch Level 1, 2, and or 3 Certified Instructors.   Funding for travel to and from the US for instructor training is available for certified practitioners from countries and areas where Healing Touch instruction is not yet available or needs to be enhanced.   For more information about the Funding Criteria, Funding Decision Process and Application

Mission:

To support the training of residents of foreign countries as Healing Touch Level 1, 2 and/or 3 instructors, thereby spreading the light worldwide.

Funding Criteria:

Requirements

Applicant must be Healing Touch Certified Practitioner.

Applicant must reside outside the US.

Requested support must be limited to expenses directly associated with obtaining instructor training.

Factors that will be considered:

• Number of instructors in the country and need for additional instructors.
• Amount of funds requested, including need for and availability of a local interpreter.
• Amount of other support received or self generated by applicant.
• Availability of Janet Mentgen funds and availability of other HTWF funds, including funds dedicated for use in that country.
• Funding previously provided for the country by HTWF and the Janet Mentgen Fund.
• Recommendations from, HTP and Healing Touch Practitioners.

Funding Decision Process:

Except in unusual circumstances, applications will be accepted at any time, up to 6 months before a scheduled HTP instructor training class.  Funding decisions will be made at least 4 months prior to each scheduled instructor class, when possible.

Applicant or representative submits attached application, a detailed budget, a copy of the applicants certification certificate, a statement by the applicant or representative of the need for an additional instructor for that country and any other supporting comments, and any recommendations from HTP, or Healing Touch Practitioners they wish considered.

A subcommittee of HTWF Board, chaired by a Board member, reviews requests.  The subcommittee makes recommendation to HTWF Board, which makes the funding decision based on the subcommittee recommendations, funds availability and other factors, at their discretion.
